Rami Deejay bleeds New York City. A true native, Rami’s been in and out of DJ booths around town since 2007. In fact, the DJ and producer’s first gig was at the legendary Crobar.
A collaborator at New York City’s Bespoke Musik, Rami works alongside Rocky Ramniceanu to showcase upcoming and established global talent. This month the company will be teaming up with Verboten to bring Heidi, Miguel Campbell and Danny Daze on March 16, a night he’ll open for. He’ll be also playing alongside Tamer Malki ahead of Tale of Us March 15 at Bijou in Boston and at Foreign Exchange in Miami March 20 with Fur Coat, Francesca Lombardo and El_txef_a.
As far as productions, we knew Rami’s name before we could put a face to it. His 2012 track “Disengage” was a favorite amongst friends. In the coming months, the producer will be releasing on Stranjjur, Jerk House Connection, Nightbird Music and King Street Records.
The ultimate candidate for our Local Love series, Rami Deejay has made us an exclusive mix for your listening pleasure. Get to know him below and listen to the mix. Click here to download. Also download his awesome remix of Foals’ “Spanish Sahara” for free! We love free.
