Tiefschwarz launching new label ‘Nau’

Tech house veterans, and brothers, Ali and Basti Schwarz– Tiefschwarz– have launched their second record label, NAU. In 2006 the German duo launched Souvenir which released music from the likes of Phonique, Riton, Tom Mangan, Ziggy Kinder, Ruede Hagelstein and The Psychonauts. After six successful years with the Souvenir imprint, NAU has been launched as a sister label.

NAU aims to be a platform for a more experimentally geared approach to music. With recent support for early NAU releases by Hollis P. Monroe and Kenny Leaven from Watergate resident, Marco Resmann, the label is already beginning to make noise. Tiefschwarz already proven A&R skills will prove to carry NAU to the same levels that Souvenir has reached.

New year, new label. NAU is not only going to be a new platform for us at Souvenir to keep doing what we love best, unearthing future house classics from producers new and old, but also a global party series which had its inaugural Berlin event in December 2012.
