Oh Playa, how I long for thee. Your white-sand beaches, your gentle ocean breeze, the Mexican flair on your streets – but mostly that monstrous 10-day celebration of house and techno that mybeatFix will inevitably be attending for its third consecutive year.
Another new year means another BPM Festival in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and it’s about time we got a little festival buzz going. Phase one of the lineup has been released, and ‘impressive’ is an understatement. It’s hard to pinpoint artists who aren’t on that lineup.
A note to newcomers: This festival is not for the weak. Artists bring their all, and festival-goers are expected to do the same. The beats are plentiful, and sleep is scarce. Strict diets and workout plans are to commence promptly if you plan to turn heads and drop jaws while you’re there. It’s sooner than you think, so get your travel plans squared away ASAP.
