UR1 Music + Art Festival: Something for every kind of music lover

As an epic example of how one simple concept can turn into one enormous realization, UR1 Music + Art Festival brings us the first music and art festival to hit Miami’s esteemed art gathering. The concept? To unite all genres for a glorious celebration of music, art and culture.

Ur1 Flyer 1 Set for the weekend of Art Basel, Dec. 8 and 9, UR1 has already promised us a star-studded lineup with the likes of Kanye West, The Offspring, Santigold, and more. Of course, at mybeatFix, we have our eyes on some of the more electronic-oriented acts like Erick Morillo, Pete Tong and Bob Sinclar. We’ll also admit that thinking of what will go down in the Cocoon Heroes and Circoloco Arenas has had us daydreaming non-stop since the initial lineup release. What’s more is that there are so many acts yet to be revealed.

mybeatFix has been in on this baby since Day 1, and we’re bringing you for the ride. This will be the first of what we hope will make a statement for unity, collaboration, harmony, oneness. To put it as simply as possible: UR1 has something for everyone.

Below, we’ve connected each music act on the lineup with his or her respective music lover. What kind of fan are you? I (Gaby Izarra, editor) am a funky-sunglass-rockin’ skinny-jean-sportin’ dance-til-you-drop bassline fiend.
