Last minute Electric Zoo 2012 to-do list: After parties, apps and set times

TO DO:

1. After-parties – Although these lists may not yet be complete, the Electric Zoo 2012 Official After Party lineups have been released! I’m must say, I’m very pleased to see that the “something for everyone” theme will be carried over from the festival to the after parties. I remember last year’s after parties being quite a circus, and I don’t doubt these will be anything less. All of these events are 18+ and will be going on from 11pm to 4am.

So, where will the most poppin’ post-parties be taking place:

Saturday – September 1st, 2012 – Tickets

Sunday – September 2nd, 2012 – Tickets

Be sure to check back with mybeatFix for any and all after party updates. Like we said before, these lists will get longer and you can count on us for all the details!

2. Phone App – Before heading to the festival (or even better — right now,) be sure to download the Electric Zoo 2012 iPhone and/or Android app. I feel like not enough people remember to do this and the truth is, it really does make your day that much easier. From updating you on when the next artist you want to see will be going on to introducing you to performers you may have never heard of, festival apps really are quite useful.

The app also features a map of the festival to help you get a bit of an understanding about how everything will be set up. For anyone who went last year, don’t count on everything being in the exact same place. Any event planner knows nothing is ever in it’s perfect place, so when things get switched up, just remember it’s you these planners have in mind! One last thing, the app is free. If you find anyone trying to make you pay for it on either the iPhone or the Android, alert: SCAMMER.

3. Set Times – It’s true, the Electric Zoo set times have been released for all three days! And, if you’ve done your homework and completed number “2″ on this list, then you can already start making your schedule right on your phone. For all of you who are either A. Lazy or B. Don’t have an iPhone or Android, well hey, that’s what we’re here for!
