Blond:ish’s Top Five Essential Tracks

One beauty behind the decks spinning sweet tunes is already a treat, and two might just be over indulgence. Blond:ish, Canadian duo, are making a return to Miami, but this time they’ll be hitting up the infamous and intimate Electric Pickle – a mybeatFix fave spot. The girls have a big year coming up, with forthcoming releases on both Noir and Kompakt. As a preview to their Friday shindig alongside Jesse Rose, we linked up with Blond:ish to find out their five essential tracks of the moment. Check ‘em out below!

1. FreakMe and Hunter/Game – Foster (Lossless Edit); Unreleased
We’ve recently been tipped onto Hunter/Game (http://soundcloud.com/hunter-game) after they made an absolute monster of a remix for one of our upcoming singles on Noir. Their productions are solid, and now this collab with FreakMe is no exception!

2. UBQ Project – When I Fell In Love (Uberfett Remix); House -N- Effect Records
We got to give credit to UBQ and the Naughties (90s) for making this record possible. At the point of the night when the club is on one vibe, usually towards the later part of our sets we been dropping this one. It’s one of those super rewarding tracks that gets you smiles, hearts & hugs all around.

3. DJ Assassin – A Face In The Crowd (Intellidread Remix); Cross Section
If we could give a nickname to this track, we’d call it the dictator of the dancefloor — you have no choice but to shake what ‘yo mama gave ya’.

4. Peter Zohdy & Michael Senna – All In Vain (Blond:ish Remix); Two Birds
This track is being released this week on two birds. It works on the dancefloor. We don’t really know how to get into describing or hyping up our own tracks, so we’ll leave it for you to decide!

5. Didier Sinclair – Lovely Fight; Serial Records
This classic house anthem from 2000 is still on the top of our list as the ultimate timeless record. It’s uplifting, energetic and works in any possible venue. It was definitely made to sound ahead of its time. RIP Didier!

BONUS: Nhar – Moonhole; PERSPECTIV
This track has gone completely under the radar, and we have no idea why. We just can’t seem to get enough of it! Moonhole Lovers is genius.
