Our resident DJ, Robert Tellier, wasted no time upon his return from the desert last week. Fresh from Burning Man, Robert got himself into the booth ASAP to record “Playa Dust,” his latest set. This time around the music reflects Robert’s second experience at the Burning Man festival and inspiration drawn from acts like Lee Burridge, Jamie Jones, Behrouz and Van Jee. “Playa Dust” shows off Robert’s versatility with a new emphasis on starting deep and sensual and working the music up into a frenzy of tech house and house beats. With tracks like Lee Burridge’s “Wongel,” Ramon Tapia’s “Yeah Yeah” and Michel Cleis’ remix to “Palace” the 80 minute set takes the listeners on a journey through Burning Man with Robert’s perspective.
