It’s wild how long tracks take to make their way into the playlists of the house heads and bass junkies scouring through charts on Beatport. A favorite of mine for weeks now, Waifs & Strays’ “Yeah Yeah” first made its debut in a mix by Heidi on BBC Radio1 almost a year ago — but it was only released on Beatport June 20 on Matt Tofrey’s Leftroom Records. Heidi referred to it as the “dirtiest house track” she had heard in quite some time. That’s exactly how I felt about it too — only a year later.
