You can never step to the same song twice

LoveUnder normal circumstances, or during a normal Sunday morning, my duties at mybeatFix would be to give you a half-ass attempt on how I’m on the verge of discovering the next untapped talent to burst into the electronic music scene. Well this isn’t a normal sunday morning, and these are certainly not “normal” circumstances, to say the least. Writing from the living room of an undisclosed location, somewhere in the social web of Miami’s underground dance scene, I come to you not as a writer, nor as a “fan.” I come to you as a human being who thrives on the experiences brought upon him by the nature of the universe. Hear me out on this one: Out of the many lessons I learned today, there’s one that strikes a trembling chord through my so called “human” consciousness, it is to love and respect anything that crosses your path. Now you’re probably wondering how this has anything to do with music, and trust me when I say this, with every ounce of energy I have left, it has absolutely everything to do with life’s sacred gem — the power of music.

In a world full of variables, primordial emotions, and constricting egos, the only thing we have left is life itself. Bob your head to every bassline that has blessed our imperfect ears. Jump to every this-song-was-made-for-me melody, because before you know it: The moment will pass and there’s no bringing it back. What I’m trying to articulate in this god-forsaken rant of all rants, is to LIVE — to live like it’s your last breath. There’s only one life, and the only time is now. I might possibly be a non-practicing preacher with a mouth bigger than his Igor-sized head, but all i know in this life is to love and be; and if i have to die trying, well like anyone with a steady head on his or her shoulders would say right about now, so be it. May my unborn children’s children hear the echoes of my trying ways; for one day this moment will come full circle and maybe (this is a big MAYBE), we’ll understand to love each other.

This is Señor Killa Garzilla signing off to all my humanoids out there. If you have anything to take way from this post, IT IS TO DANCE….DANCE YOUR LIFE AWAY! Besos y amor mi lindos, y que Diós los bendigan.
